Hi, I’m Tonya

I'm an Image Consultant and Style Coach who’s spent the last 10 years maximizing closets, outfits, and wardrobes, with the end goal of showing professional women how to be their best everyday. I help with easy ways of showing relatability and authority in your business, but in ways that make sense for you.

​Changing you into someone that you're not is not the goal. However, you will get a plan for a personal image and brand that fits - with you and your objectives.

In the past, I have managed teams and enhanced customer shopping experiences at companies such as JC Penney, White House Black Market, and Keaton Row.

However, a turning point for me was in 2001 when I made the very difficult decision to resign from my first real job after college after just two years. I wanted to slow down my work pace and do something a little more fashion focused. I also wanted to be able to work from home whenever I chose and spend more time with my family. So I left - not really knowing where I was headed...

Fast forward a few years, now with a beautiful new infant and toddler in tow, I was searching online and literally stumbled upon the field of personal image consulting. I immediately KNEW that was what I had been looking for. Practical Style and Spaces was born a few years later.

​Since then, I have also completed training to complement my Fashion Merchandising degree and am certified in the following:

• Business Image Consulting 
• Color Consulting

Looking back, I see now how personal color, style, and image has played a major role in my own life journey and the way I'd prepped for job interviews, networking events, and speaking gigs, with much success. Having this personal knowledge has even helped me make peace with a few different body changes over the years!

Things are definitely easier and I save a lot of my personal time and money because I now know what really works for me and my preferences and what doesn't.  I'd love to help you discover the same so your story can be even better than mine!
